Student Profile - Tue Ngo
Current
Public Policy and Management student, Tue Ngo, MD was working for a Health Policy Initiative (HPI) in Ho Chi Minh City when he applied to study at Carnegie Mellon in Australia.
Tue says that “Carnegie Mellon University is a famous institution with a good reputation. The Masters in Public Policy and Management (MSPPM) program is fitting for my career and can help my advancement in the future.”
HPI is an American Nongovernment Organization aiming at improving policy environment for HIV prevention, care, treatment, support and stigma reduction towards HIV/AIDS in the South of Vietnam.
With the qualifications Tue will achieve from Carnegie Mellon he hopes he can work more effectively in mobilizing and coordinating resources for HIV prevention, care and treatment and support for people living with HIV/AIDS and reduction of stigma and discrimination.
“I think my studies will help my work in improving equitable and affordable access to high-quality services and information for people living with HIV/ADS in Vietnam. It really is about challenging yourself and making a difference.”
