AmCham Networking Market Forum
On Tuesday 27 May 2008 Diane Ovens, the Graduate Program Coordinator at Carnegie Mellon University Adelaide, attended an AmCham Networking Market Forum which was held at the Hilton Adelaide.
Invited guests were asked to speak for two minutes about the business they represented, and Diane’s presentation included a brief snapshot of the University’s history, student profiles, and information concerning the courses offered at Carnegie Mellon Adelaide.
Included in the events of the evening was a Business Card Draw and Brandt Piercy, who is a Financial Planner at Westpac, won the bottle of award-winning 2006 Shaw & Smith Shiraz and presentation case contributed by Carnegie Mellon University.
The evening was considered a great success with initial conversations taking place between Diane and other attendees about possible project work which could be offered to current students of the Master of Science in Information Technology or Master of Science in Public Policy Management courses.
If you are interested in discussing a possible project which our postgraduate students can undertake please phone Alison Harris, the Career Services Manager on 8110 9922 or send her an email: alisonh@andrew.cmu.edu .
