Non-tenure track position in Public Policy and Management
Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz School Adelaide branch is hiring for a non-tenure track faculty member to begin teaching in January 2009. The position will teach the equivalent of six full-semester classes per year in the Master of Science in Public Policy and Management program. Classes to be taught include Strategic Planning, Organizational Management, Program Evaluation, Policy Analysis, and project classes or electives. The position is covered by a two year contract and salary and benefits are competitive.
Applicants should hold a doctorate in a related discipline and have prior teaching experience, preferably at the master’s level.
The campus is located in the central business district of Adelaide, South Australia, a short distance from the beach and with an hour’s drive of wine regions and other attractions. Adelaide is home to three other major universities, boasts a vibrant arts community, and offers a comfortable lifestyle in a beautiful setting.
